UK Innovator Visa
Innovator Visa Program is designed for entrepreneurs with requisite skills who want to set up a new business in the UK. The investment must be productive, be profitable to the UK economy, and facilitate financial growth.
Just like the start-up visa category, applicants are required to have an innovative, viable and scalable business idea that should be supported by an endorsing body.
The program offers a Pathway to Indefinite Leave to Remain after 3 years and thereafter obtaining a UK passport.
Innovator Visa Requirements
To qualify for an Innovator visa, you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Before you apply your business or business idea should be endorsed by an Approved Body.
- You must have at least £50,000 in investment funds to apply for an innovator visa if you want to set up a new business. You do not need funds if your business is already established and has been endorsed for an earlier visa or you’ve changed your business and already agreed it with your endorsing body.
- You must meet the English Language requirement CEFR level B2 or UK NARIC
- You must be able to prove that you have enough personal savings to support yourself while you’re in the UK. You must have at least £945 in your bank account of 90 consecutive days before you apply
