The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP): Entrepreneur Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program’s (OINP) Entrepreneur Stream is designed to support individuals from outside of Canada who are looking to implement a new business idea or buy an existing business in Ontario.

It offers entrepreneurs an opportunity to be nominated for permanent residence once their business has been successfully established in Ontario.

Minimum requirements to apply under the Ontario PNP Program

  1. If the proposed business is located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA):
Minimum investment: $600,000
Minimum Net worth: $800,000

2. If the proposed business is located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA):

Minimum investment: $200,000
Minimum Net worth: $ 400,000
Experience: 24 months of business experience as an owner or senior manager within the past 60 months
Language proficiency: IELTS with CLB Level 5
Age: Below 55
Qualification: Minimum 10+2 or above
